Get a professional review of your photos. I've been asked by a number of amateur and aspiring professional photographers if I was available to review either a portfolio or other collection of images, hoping I might be able to offer some helpful tips or advice. Most photographers simply wanted some feedback on their current photos plus a few quick pointers to help make their own photography efforts more successful. Other photographers interested in becoming full or part time professionals have asked me about doing a more serious review of a completed portfolio and critique, and offer tips on showing images to prospective buyers and editors.. Well, the answer is yes, I am available for this unique educational service. For years I've loved looking at the work of other photographers, and of all skill levels. Use this chance to get some wonderful advice, pointers, directions, or inspiration for your own photography, as well as some professional guidence to help you learn from your own collection of images. Reviews are conducted based on the number of images you wish to have critiqued. Reviews are conducted with an emphasis on critique for learning, with written recommendations made for how to improve your picture taking, where applicable. Reviews can be based upon a collection of images that you really like or are your favorites, or of images you thought should have come out different from what you wound up getting on film. While there is no maximum number of images that can be submitted for review, most clients send between 20 and 100 images. There is a flat rate of $2.50 per image. Images can be forwarded for my review as simple photo prints (4x6), inkjet prints, original slides, duplicate slides, or digital image files via email, web site, or burned on CD ROM If you are working on becoming a professional photographer, and have a completed professional portfolio you are thinking of submitting to editors or publishers, I am happy to review these as well and make suitable recommendations where appropriate. (Professional portfolio review is a flat $75.00) Review fees can be charged to a VISA or MASTERCARD. |
