Photo: California Spring Wildflowers
Picture: Lupine and Owl’s clover bloom in spring oak tree woodlands in the Los Padres National Forest, California

This was how my most recent trip started. I want to thank my good friend Michael Routh for bringing me to this location. If you want to see this great display for yourself, dial in the zzzPS coordinatezzzz 38 degzzzzzz (static) by one hundrezzzz zzz zzz (more static). This really was a great display, and even a tough guy would go a bit soft with the strong floral fragrance that lingered in the air.

Great flower field Gary. Sounds like you’re no longer in Crapenteria. Did you photograph the “pastie lady” in Ojai?
