Where to sell your photos.

Most people selling stock photos these days repeatedly mention a few names, especially Getty, Corbis, and iStock. But there are other places out there. And just because you’re starting out doesn’t mean you are limited to going to the microstock agencies by default. I say this because one reason I hear many people saying they went to the micro agencies is because they couldn’t get in anywhere else. But Micro or Traditional, I’ll bet nobody has exhausted this list of contacts for places to sell your photos. There are over 800 agencies on this list. So the next time I hear someone say the only reason they went with a microstock agency because all the other traditional doors wouldn’t open, I’ll have to ask, ”Really?”

Great list Gary. I’ve always found it interesting that Alamy refers to itself as royalty-free in their title tag and also on that list.
